Position Responsibilities
TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES.
- Read Work orders to determine material requirements and assembly instructions, verifying lot and part numbers
- Read and interpret product drawings (CAD)
- Read and fill in CER inspection forms
- Manual cutting of wire/cable to specific lengths
- Work with small components to assemble simple medical device measuring from 0.005 to 0.010.
- Attach fittings onto wires and cables utilizing hand tools and or machinery with calculated accuracy, precision, and reliability to achieve the maximum tensile strength and exact tolerances.
- Use the laser welder
- Packaging according to instructions
- Washing and cleaning of finished assemblies
GENERAL COMPETENCIES
- Perform stripping of insulation/coating from wire.
- Inspection using microscopes, calipers and micrometers.
- Crimping, laser welding.
- Read and interpret CAD drawings, tolerances, SOPs, MPIs, travelers, inspection forms, diagrams, and work orders in order to determine materials requirements and assembly instructions.
- Must be able to meet strict deadlines.
- Conserves resources by using equipment and components as needed to accomplish job results.
- Setup and maintain a clean working environment at all times.
- Understands and follows all safety policies, codes and procedures at all times.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Communicates frequently with team regarding concerns, discrepancies and continuous improvement ideas.
Skills
The candidate must have excellent hands on aptitude and outstanding vision
Must have a strong desire to learn, work in a collaborative environment, and share knowledge with the team.
